Founded in the early 2000s, the company designs and manufactures both hardware and software PBX systems, hotel telephony platforms, multi-tenant solutions, SIP phones, and VoIP/PSTN interfaces. About the Role

This is a high-impact, individual-contributor position focused entirely on managing and growing the relationship with one strategic enterprise account. You'll be the primary point of contact between the client, responsible for both the day-to-day operational flow and the long-term commercial expansion of the partnership.

You will report directly to the VP of the territory and operate with significant autonomy. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, not oversight.

This position is based in Mexico City Regular in-person meetings within the city are expected, along with occasional travel to other locations across Mexico.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a strategic tier-1 telecom account, managing all day-to-day interactions
  • Drive internal adoption and expansion of the company's solutions within the client organization
  • Ensure operational processes run smoothly — from order flow to delivery to support coordination
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities, working closely with internal product and pre-sales teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels and departments within a large, complex organization
  • Report progress, pipeline, and account health transparently to the territory VP
  • Represent customer needs internally to help shape roadmap priorities and support strategies
  • Track and achieve sales-based KPIs as the primary performance metric, alongside secondary goals such as new product approvals

Requirements

  • Technical background in telephony, communications, networks, or a related field — enough to hold credible conversations with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Customer-facing experience sales, account management, sales engineering, or similar roles
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely with a high degree of personal accountability
  • Experience navigating and building relationships within large enterprise organizations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — patience, persistence, and a collaborative mindset
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
  • Full transparency and integrity in all professional interactions
  • Spanish Native or near-native level (required)
  • English Solid conversational level with good reading and writing skills (required)

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working with or within a major Mexican telecommunications company — familiarity with the internal culture and processes of large telcos in Mexico is a meaningful advantage
  • Experience selling or supporting PBX, VoIP, UC, or related platforms
  • Existing relationships within the Mexican telecom sector
  • Experience in a role that bridged technical and commercial functions (e.g., pre-sales, solutions engineering turned account manager)
