Following its establishment in 2012, Plzeň has grown into our fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Europe. The center focuses on the design and development of Lear products, including complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim components. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all commercial and technical customer inquiries, including assessing product suitability and application together with the technical team.
  • Support new business and project activities from the initial customer inquiry through to the start of series production.
  • Manage administrative processes such as correspondence, coordination of samples, drawings, data sheets, supplier declarations, and other relevant documentation.
  • Implement customer care measures to strengthen and maintain long term customer relationships.
  • Prepare quotations and conduct individual price negotiations within the defined commercial framework.
  • Support specialist departments in handling commercial aspects of complaints, including issuing credit notes and debits.
  • Analyze sales and turnover reports to support business decisions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budget data in alignment with the Key Account Manager.
  • Work within international customer specific portals, including preparation and evaluation of turnover and volume statistics.
  • Solve complex issues using established business procedures and guidelines while collaborating with senior management when needed.
  • Collaborate across departments, applying best practices and business insights to improve products, services, and internal processes.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong, in depth knowledge in the primary discipline and fundamental knowledge of related areas.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex problems and make decisions guided by company policies, procedures, and strategic business plans.
  • Capability to adapt departmental plans and priorities based on operational or resource challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Program Management or sales related roles.
  • Experience working in an international, cross functional environment.
  • Ability to apply industry knowledge and best practices to improve processes and support business performance.
