Job Description

About the role and team

Join the Uber Eats Inside Sales team in Berlin and help grow our restaurant network through high-volume, consultative sales. You’ll identify the best independent restaurants and restaurant groups, build relationships with owners and decision-makers primarily by phone and email, and help new partners launch successfully on Uber Eats.

This is an office-based role for someone who enjoys creating momentum through structured outreach, sharp discovery, and persuasive conversations. You’ll manage a sales pipeline, run targeted campaigns, and tailor the Uber Eats value proposition to different restaurant types, cuisines, neighbourhoods, and business goals. You’ll work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to move partners from first contact to signed agreement, onboarding, and first orders.

Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust quickly, and solving problems without a script. This role is not about simply pushing a product: it’s about understanding how a restaurant operates, presenting a relevant commercial solution, and building partnerships that work for both the restaurant and Uber Eats.

What you’ll do

  • Build, manage, and prioritise a Berlin-focused sales pipeline using CRM data, market insight, lead lists, and campaign performance.
  • Lead high-volume outbound campaigns through cold calling, email, and other digital prospecting channels.
  • Research prospects, identify the right decision-makers, and create relevant reasons for restaurants to join Uber Eats.
  • Run discovery and sales conversations that uncover partner needs, handle objections, communicate product value, and progress opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from first outreach through pitching, commercial negotiation, contract signature, and handover to onboarding.
  • Explain Uber Eats and relevant product features in clear, commercially compelling terms, connecting them to each partner’s goals around reach, demand, operations, and growth.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Account Management to remove onboarding blockers and create a smooth launch experience.
  • Stay close to newly signed partners through onboarding, first orders, and their first 28 days on the platform, escalating risks and supporting early performance.
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion, campaign results, and restaurant feedback; use those insights to improve messaging, prioritisation, and sales execution.

What youll have

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in quota-carrying sales, business development, inside sales, or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline, identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, negotiating commercial terms, and closing agreements.
  • Professional fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with restaurant partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and conducting commercial conversations by phone, email, and video.
  • Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce, to manage activity, pipeline stages, and follow-ups.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in food delivery, hospitality, restaurants, e-commerce, marketplaces, or another fast-moving B2B environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant landscape or experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Additional languages are a plus (including Turkish, Arabic, Italian, or Vietnamese)
  • Excellent listening, communication, and objection-handling skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
  • A resourceful, persistent, and proactive approach, with the energy to create opportunities and keep momentum through a complex sales cycle.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a growing Berlin team.

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
