LinkedIn Talent Solutions is looking for a Talent Account Executive based in Ahmedabad. This is a new business acquisition / hunting role focused on prospect accounts, or accounts without existing LinkedIn business across the Hiring and Learning product lines, in line with approved account allocation and Rules of Engagement.

You will develop a focused territory strategy, build a qualified pipeline, lead consultative customer conversations, and manage opportunities from initial engagement through commercial close and post-sale transition. You will work with HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning, and business leaders to understand their priorities and connect them with relevant LinkedIn solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory and account strategy to acquire new customers and deliver against quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Build a consistent pipeline through disciplined prospecting, insight-led outreach, referrals, events, and partner motions.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customer priorities, business challenges, stakeholders, timing and desired outcomes.
• Position LinkedIn Hiring and Learning solutions based on eligible customer needs and approved account coverage.
• Build trusted, multi-threaded relationships across Talent Acquisition, HR, Learning, business leadership, procurement and other relevant stakeholders.
• Create and execute clear opportunities and mutual close plans, including stakeholder alignment, milestones, risks and next steps.
• Manage proposals, commercial discussions, negotiations, and internal approval processes with strong judgement and discipline.
• Maintain accurate and current CRM records, opportunity stages, close dates, customer evidence, risks, and forecast commitments.
• Partner with Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Operations and Deal Desk to improve customer outcomes and deal execution as and need basis only.
• Ensure a clear post-sale transition that supports adoption, value realization, and a strong long-term customer relationship.
• Bring relevant market and customer insight back to internal stakeholders to help strengthen go-to-market execution.
• Travel within the assigned territory as required.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience in new customer acquisition and pipeline creation.
• Prior experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through close.
• Prior experience in CRM systems for pipeline, opportunity, and forecast management.
• Fluency in both written and verbal communication, commercial judgement, executive presence, and negotiation skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience selling SaaS, HR technology, hiring, learning, or workforce solutions.
• Knowledge of the Gujarat and broader Emerging West business ecosystem.
• Experience using structured qualification and deal management methodologies.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate talent priorities into a clear business-value narrative.
• Strong territory planning, account prioritization, and pipeline management discipline.
• High ownership, resilience, learning agility, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• MEDDPICC sales methodology experience, GONG, Dynamics, and AI usage for productivity.
• A consistent record of achieving revenue goals while maintaining customer trust and forecast discipline.
