The role
As a Account Executive/Senior Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of Real Estate clients, taking ownership of client relationships, renewals, and placements. You will be responsible for delivering tailored insurance solutions and ensuring high standards of service, while supporting team objectives and contributing to the growth and retention of the portfolio.
What you’ll do
Manage a portfolio of Real Estate clients, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day insurance matters
Lead renewals, new business placements, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Review client requirements and structure risks appropriately for market presentation
Negotiate with insurers to secure suitable terms, cover, and pricing for clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and third parties
Oversee the preparation of market submissions and client documentation, ensuring quality and completeness
Respond to client queries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a consistent level of service
Identify opportunities to retain and develop client relationships, supporting portfolio growth
Work closely with account handlers and technicians to ensure effective delivery of service
Monitor progress against renewal timelines and ensure all activity meets agreed deadlines
Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to internal policies and compliance requirements
Who we’re looking for
Proven experience managing or supporting Real Estate clients within an insurance or broking environment (circa 5 years)
Experience handling renewals, placements, and mid-term adjustments
Exposure to negotiating with insurers and presenting risks to market
Experience working with client portfolios and maintaining ongoing relationships
Understanding of the London Market and insurance processes
Experience collaborating with technical or servicing teams to deliver client outcomes
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts
Professional insurance qualifications (e.g. ACII) are desirable or working towards
Relevant market qualifications such as LLMIT are desirable
Strong written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate information clearly
Good numeracy skills, with confidence working with figures and client data
