About the Job:The Real Deal is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join a rapidly growing media company focusedon real estate journalism and headquartered in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a trackrecord of closing new business and at least 2-3 years selling advertising solutions with a consultativeapproach. Typical deal size ranges from $10K - $100K/year.Long-term we expect you to increase revenue generated from local and national Real Estate andEndemic industry Advertisers, significantly grow our portfolio of local accounts, drive and oversee thesuccessful launch and execution of our premier Real Estate industry events and build sales of our onlineadvertising products.
What You'll Do:Prospect, develop, and grow new business across multiple channels: digital, print, and live eventsBuild and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targetsUse CRM tools (HubSpot) to track activity, forecast revenue, and report on sales metricsCollaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate ad delivery, trafficking, and billingDevelop strategic account plans in coordination with sales leadershipRepresent the company at key industry events and build relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders
What You Bring:Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City3–5 years of advertising/media sales experience in a client-facing role  is mustProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goalsStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsExperience with sales CRMs, campaign reporting tools, and a good grasp of digital media metricsAbility to multitask, stay organized, and work well under pressureFamiliarity with event sponsorship sales is a plus
