Position Title: Account Executive – Energy Solutions
Location: Kentucky (Statewide)

Reports To: Sales Manager / Director of Sales
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team, specializing in energy solutions for public sector buildings across Kentucky. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and delivering innovative energy efficiency projects to state and local government entities, educational institutions, and other public sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within public sector buildings throughout Kentucky. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including government officials, facility managers, and procurement officers.
Solution Selling: Present and sell our comprehensive range of energy solutions, including energy audits, retrofitting, renewable energy systems, and energy management services. Customize proposals to meet the specific needs and regulatory requirements of public sector clients.
Project Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial contact to project closure. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and adherence to project timelines.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. Utilize this knowledge to provide clients with up-to-date recommendations and competitive solutions.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and detailed proposals. Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure agreements and meet revenue targets.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project progress. Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance, market developments, and client feedback.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in energy management or sales is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in energy solutions or related industries. Previous experience working with public sector clients is highly desirable.
