Marcus Evans, founded in 1983, is a global business intelligence and event marketing company, with 49 offices in 20+ countries.
One of our largest global brands is the Private Wealth Management Summit – held in the US, four times a year. This brand is well known, by both Family Offices and Fund Managers, as the most exclusive and invitation-only gathering for the Private Markets in the US.
We are seeking a Chicago-based, in-office Account Executive to join our team and drive the attendance of Senior Investment Officers from Single-Family and Multi-Family Offices. Your efforts will directly impact the quality, prestige, and success of our Summits.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree – within Finance and Economics. A Master’s Degree will be considered an advantage.
2+ years of success in B2B sales within Investor Relations, as a Placement Agent, or in Financial Services.
A strong understanding of the Private Markets and the various Alternative Investment Assets.
Strong familiarity with the Family Office and RIA space; existing relationships are a plus.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with confidence to engage C-level professionals.
Self-driven, resilient, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, relationship-driven sales environment.
Proficiency in CRM platforms and pipeline management best practices. HubSpot experience is an advantage.
Located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL; this is an in-office role.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential. OTE: First year $90,000 – 110,000.
