Let’s shape the future of finance - together
At Isabel, we believe that real innovation happens when people and ideas connect
That’s why we’re building more than technology, we’re building an ecosystem.
One where every voice counts, and where your work can truly make a difference.
We’re looking for curious minds and collaborative builders. People who believe success means growing together, learning from each other, and challenging the status quo.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
What you’ll do
Identify, approach, qualify and close new ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partnership opportunities, with Ponto and open banking as the first priority, while also being able to position Isabel more broadly as a total solutions provider where relevant. This is a hunting role: own the full commercial cycle for new partnerships, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and signature, building a strong new partner pipeline aligned with Isabel's partnership strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full commercial cycle for new ISV partnership opportunities: from first contact, qualification and positioning, to negotiation and signed partnership agreement.
• Build and maintain target lists of high-potential ISVs, software vendors and platforms across Benelux, France and Germany, prioritizing Ponto and open banking opportunities.
• Proactively prospect and open doors with new ISV partners through outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, events, referrals) to generate new partnership pipeline.
• Qualify partner potential by understanding the partner’s software, use case, customer base, ecosystem position and commercial model.
• Position Ponto and open banking, APIs and embedded banking workflows, as well as Isabel’s broader solution offering, in a way that is relevant to each partner’s context.
• Deliver clear, tailored pitches and demos that translate Isabel’s value proposition into concrete benefits for the partner’s own product and customers.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns and lead generation targeting the ISV ecosystem, and with Product on partner-relevant roadmap and positioning.
• Ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success and Partner Managers after signature, supporting onboarding validation and early partner follow-up.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates with notes, next steps, forecasts and opportunity stages to ensure visibility, structured qualification and predictable pipeline.
• Build and maintain market intelligence on relevant ISVs, competitors, sectors, events and ecosystem opportunities to continuously refine targeting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal risk frameworks (PSD2, AML/KYC) when structuring partnerships.
What makes you a great fit
Required Expertise
• Solid B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally including 3–5 years in a new business, hunting or partnership development role.
• Proven track record in new business development: building pipeline from scratch, prospecting proactively and converting cold or warm outreach into signed deals.
• Experience managing short to medium sales cycles, with the discipline to move opportunities through structured qualification to close.
• Experience selling to, or building partnerships with, ISVs, software vendors or SaaS ecosystem players.
• Strong solution-selling skills, with the ability to sell value and business impact rather than product features alone.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, English and German.
• Tech-savvy, comfortable with digital platforms and CRM systems, with proven ability to manage full commercial cycles and deliver against growth targets.
Nice to Have
• Open banking sales experience.
• Knowledge of PSD2 / PSD3 and related regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of APIs, embedded finance or embedded workflows.
• Experience in financial services, ERP, accounting software or banking connectivity.
Key Competencies
• Highly commercial, hunter mindset with strong drive to win new partnerships.
• Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Resilient in handling objections and able to influence decisions.
• Flexible, hands-on, and able to prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills: persuasive, proactive, energetic, and professional.
