The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales performance and maximizing revenue across the indirect sales channel within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retailers, providing sales training, and ensuring optimal merchandising and inventory levels for T-Mobile prepaid brands. By actively engaging with store personnel and implementing targeted sales initiatives, the Account Executive enhances brand visibility and customer activation. The position requires effective problem-solving, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external partners to resolve issues and improve market outcomes. Through these efforts, the Account Executive contributes to T-Mobile's growth and strengthens its presence in the retail environment.

NYC: South Queens (Jackson Heights, Jamaica, South Richmond Hill)
Los Angeles: Southwest Los Angeles (Huntington Park, Gardena, South Gate, Torrence)
Chicago: North Chicago Job Responsibilities

  • Drives sales performance and maximizes revenue by engaging with retailers and implementing targeted sales initiatives within assigned territory.
  • Builds strong relationships with retail partners to enhance brand visibility and customer activation for T-Mobile prepaid brands.
  • Provides sales training and support to store personnel to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Ensures optimal merchandising and inventory levels by monitoring store displays and coordinating with retail partners.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve issues and improve market outcomes.
  • Analyzes sales data and prepares regular reports to track performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Solves problems and addresses challenges by proactively identifying and implementing solutions in the retail environment.


Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Marketing, or Related Field (Preferred)
  • Associate's Degree Business, Sales, or Related Field (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma/GED General Studies (Required)
  • 2-4 years Sales experience in an acquisition capacity, including building and managing relationships with retailers or channel partners (Required)
  • 2-4 years Implementing sales training and merchandising initiatives to drive product visibility and customer activation in a retail environment (Required)
  • 2-4 years Collaborating with internal and external partners to resolve issues, optimize inventory levels, and improve market outcomes (Required)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Sales Ability to drive sales performance and maximize revenue across indirect sales channels, including retail environments. (Required)
  • Building Relationships Skill in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and store personnel to enhance brand visibility and customer activation. (Required)

  • Customer Service Skill in delivering excellent customer service and support to retail partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement. (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales tracking, inventory management, and data analysis. (Required)


Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP): Certification demonstrates proficiency in sales techniques, client relationship management, and ethical sales practices. (Preferred)
  • Retail Management Certification: Certification that validates expertise in retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, and store personnel engagement. (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License: Required for travel within assigned territory to visit retail locations and engage with partners. (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $62,500 - $112,700Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
