The Account Executive – Group Sales Lead is responsible for selling inventory of marketing elements including signage, hospitality, promotions, and media, as well as increasing revenue for the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve or exceed sales and activity quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Develop a sales training manual for the corporate sales department
- Prospect nationally and regionally for corporate marketing dollars
- Generate new leads through the monitoring of television, radio, print, billboards, and other entertainment venues
- Follow market trends in the industry to identify new sponsorship candidates
- Establish relationships with decision-makers and generate long-term, successful partnerships by insuring an adequate level of customer service
- Manage weekly call sheets & pending reports to reach budget
- Create and implement marketing initiatives for clients
- Manage individual sales report process, contract negotiation and receivables and deliver reports to Associate VP of Premium Sales and ownership as requested
- Special assignments and projects as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibility
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of previous sales experience
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Finance/Legal Experience preferred
