Job Description

Position Summary

Major Hollywood and independent movie studios have appointed Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. as their exclusive licensing and distribution partner to offer their box-office hits for public performance in non-theatrical markets (markets outside theaters). Swank represents Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, New Line Cinema, Lionsgate, MGM, and many more!

We are seeking a self-disciplined, highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive new business in a fast-paced, challenging, and exciting work environment. This position is responsible for increasing market share within the K-12 Streaming client base. The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is the establishment of new client accounts and the sale of new products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales and increase market share within the K-12 education sector
  • Build relationships with Instructional Technology, Academic Affairs, and School District decision-makers
  • Conduct streaming webinars to engage educators and promote Swank's content solutions
  • Stay informed on educational content trends and align licensing solutions with curriculum needs
  • Participating in the establishment of sales goals
  • Writing contracts for new business
  • Keeping up-to-date records of activities
  • Participating in team meetings to develop sales, marketing & service strategies
  • Developing sales leads with potential clients
  • Ensuring on-going revenue growth of the K-12 Streaming/Motion Pictures business
  • Actively researching academic organizations to develop new prospect lists
  • Demonstrating initiative and creativity in capturing business
  • Formulating pricing structure and negotiating contracts to achieve objectives
  • Build customer loyalty through excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with team members on strategies to achieve sales revenue goals and quotas

Requirements

Professional

  • Having direct experience with sales and customer service responsibilities
  • Having proven experience in developing positive customer relationships and seeking ways to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Demonstrating success at sales
  • Possessing excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
  • Demonstrating a service orientation in meeting customers’ needs
  • Understanding customers’ needs and matching them with services and products
  • Exhibiting well-developed communication skills (concise, clear, sincere, persuasive)
  • Travel for conferences is required up to 15%

Educational

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years sales experience required
