Job Title: Account Executive – Identity Security (Duo) (ASEAN)

As an Account Executive for Identity Security (Duo) in ASEAN, you will be the primary driver of revenue growth, tasked with expanding our market share and deepening customer relationships. You will own the sales cycle, influencing strategic decisions within the buying centre by positioning Cisco's identity security portfolio as a business enabler. While this role requires architectural fluency to articulate the value of Zero Trust and authentication solutions, your primary focus is on commercial success: displacing competitors, increasing wallet share, and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements across the diverse ASEAN landscape.

What You'll Do

• Revenue Ownership: Drive the full sales lifecycle, from lead qualification to contract closure, achieving ambitious revenue targets within the ASEAN region.
• Strategic Consultative Selling: Lead high-level discovery sessions with IT leadership, Line of Business (LOB) heads, and CXOs. You will translate complex technical architectures into compelling business outcomes that address specific customer pain points.
• Competitive Positioning: Utilise market intelligence and competitor analysis to differentiate Cisco Identity Security (Duo). You will build and execute integrated account plans that neutralise competitor strategies and highlight our unique value proposition.
• Deal Orchestration: Manage complex deal cycles (typically 3 to 18 months) with deal sizes ranging from 50Kto50Kto750K+ ACV. You will lead the development of technical proposals, including bill-of-materials (BOM) creation and financial business case justification.
• Customer Engagement & Advocacy: Serve as the trusted advisor to your clients, ensuring they realise the full value of their investment. You will represent the "voice of the customer" to internal product teams, influencing roadmaps based on regional market demands.
• Thought Leadership & Public Speaking: Represent Cisco Identity Security at industry conferences, customer events, and webinars, presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal Solution Engineers, Account Teams, and business units to align resources, streamline the sales process, and minimise adoption barriers.
• Forecasting & Planning: Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene and architectural-specific forecasting, ensuring alignment between technical projections and broader portfolio strategy.

• Consistent achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Successful displacement of competitors and measurable growth in market share.
• Development of long-term, high-value customer relationships and strategic account growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related experience; or Master's degree plus 4 years of related experience.
• Sales Acumen: Proven track record in a quota-carrying sales role, preferably within the cybersecurity or SaaS industry in the ASEAN market.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to articulate complex security architectures (specifically Zero Trust, phish-resistant MFA, and Access Management) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the ASEAN business landscape and the ability to navigate complex, multi-national account structures.
• Travel: Travel across the ASEAN region required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience selling Identity and Access Management (IAM) or MFA solutions.
• Established CXO-level relationships across key ASEAN markets.
• Multilingual capability relevant to the ASEAN region.
• Comfortable presenting to large audiences at conferences, industry events, and customer briefings.
