Job Description
The Account Executive will focus primarily on acquiring new customers and expanding
our clients footprint across the EU region.
About 70% of this role is dedicated to hunting new business, with the remaining 30%
maintaining and nurturing select existing accounts.
The role is responsible for driving
pipeline generation, winning new logos, and supporting strategic growth initiatives
Main Responsibility Areas:
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with operators, carriers, and
service providers.
• Build a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and leveraging
industry relationships.
• Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to contract
negotiation and signature.
• Maintain relationships with a small set of existing accounts to ensure ongoing
satisfaction and renewal opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify whitespace and emerging
opportunities.
• Deliver accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasts using Salesforce.
• Attend industry conferences, customer events, and executive
meetings.
• Collaborate internally to ensure smooth handover of new customers to delivery
and account teams.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Strong business development and strategic selling skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
• Confident, consultative closer — comfortable driving deals to signature, not just
generating interest
• Proven ability to open doors and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder
environments.
• Self-starter with high energy, resilience, and drive to exceed targets.
• Quick to grasp technical and telecom concepts, even without prior industry
background — comfortable learning fast in a technically dense environment.
REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of experience in software and services sales, managing complex B2B
customer relationships in account management or customer success roles.
• Demonstrated track record of upselling, retention, and customer relationship
growth.
• Understanding of telecom operator business models and procurement processes
is an advantage, but not required — comparable experience in another industry
with similar sales dynamics (long RFP-driven procurement cycles, multi-stakeholder
buying decisions) is equally valued.
• Familiar with CRM (Salesforce.com advantageous) and forecasting processes.
• Full professional fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
Fluency in an additional major European language is considered a strong asset.
Willingness to travel, about 40% of the month both locally and in Europe, sometimes
on short notice.
