About the Role

The Account Executive, Distribution role is a commercially focused role responsible for driving growth across two key sales motions: SaaS Backup and MSP distributor referrals.

Working closely with the APAC Sales and Channel teams, you will build and progress SaaS Backup pipeline while developing relationships with MSP distributor sales teams to generate new referral sales opportunity. You will engage directly with partners and prospects, identify and qualify opportunities, communicate the NinjaOne value proposition, and drive consistent follow-up to move opportunities through the sales cycle.

This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone early in their career who is motivated by creating pipeline, developing customer and partner relationships, and delivering measurable sales outcomes.

What you will do

• Build distributor relationships Develop strong day-to-day relationships with MSP distributor sales teams to create mindshare for NinjaOne and uncover new sales opportunities.
• Generate qualified referrals Proactively work with distributor sales teams to identify MSP prospects and generate a consistent flow of qualified referrals into the NinjaOne sales pipeline.
• Drive distributor sales activity Maintain regular engagement with distributor sales teams, keeping NinjaOne front of mind and turning partner conversations into actionable sales opportunities.
• Progress referral opportunities Qualify and follow up referrals quickly, coordinate appropriate NinjaOne resources, and maintain strong CRM and pipeline discipline throughout the sales process.
• Build Product Demonstration acumen: Confidently deliver engaging product demonstrations that clearly communicate NinjaOne’s value proposition, connect key capabilities to customer needs, and help progress opportunities through the sales cycle

• You are proactive, curious and organised, with the drive to follow opportunities through and deliver against sales goals. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your responsibilities and are motivated to develop your career across SaaS and partner sales.

Experience & Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in technology sales, SaaS sales, business development, inside sales or a partner/channel environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage prospects or partners, identify sales opportunities and contribute to pipeline generation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging customers and partners by phone, video and in person.
• Understanding of SaaS sales motions; exposure to MSPs, IT distribution, data protection or cybersecurity is advantageous but not essential.
• Commercially driven and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, with good sales activity, pipeline and forecasting discipline.
• Ability to travel across the Asia Pacific territory as required.
• Authorised to work in Australia.
