Account Executive - Digital, SaaS & Marketplace Sales - Brisbane Office - Permanent Full Time

Are you a confident sales professional who knows how to uncover what a customer needs, recommend the right solution and close?

We’re growing our Brisbane sales team and looking for an Account Executive to join iseekplant.

iseekplant is Australia’s largest construction services and equipment hire marketplace. Over the past 14 years, we’ve built the largest online audience in Australia’s construction sector and expanded beyond the marketplace to include a full-service digital agency, digital marketing solutions and a growing suite of SaaS and AI products.

This is a new business sales role with plenty of opportunity. You’ll receive hot inbound leads generated by our Marketing team, qualified meetings booked by our Account Development Representatives (ADRs), and access to our extensive audience and customer database – so there are always new opportunities to uncover.

You’ll be selling our established marketplace and digital marketing solutions, including websites and Google Ads, while joining us at an exciting stage of growth as we expand further into SaaS, AI and technology products.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the full sales process. You’ll run discovery conversations, understand the customer's business and challenges, recommend the right solution, create and manage opportunities, negotiate and ultimately close new business.

While you’ll have strong lead generation and ADR support, we also expect our Account Executives to take ownership of their pipeline. Sometimes that means proactively picking up the phone, re-engaging an old opportunity or finding the next customer rather than waiting for the next lead to arrive.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Managing Your Pipeline: Own your opportunities and pipeline across iseekplant's marketplace, digital and technology products.
• Working Hot Leads: Receive an equal share of inbound sales and registration leads generated through our marketing activity – typically around 40–50 opportunities per month.
• Qualified Meetings: Work closely with our ADR team, who prospect and book qualified meetings into your calendar.
• Creating Opportunities: Use our extensive customer and prospect database, built over 14 years, to proactively identify and re-engage potential customers.
• Solution Selling: Run effective discovery conversations, understand customer needs and recommend solutions that genuinely align with their business objectives.
• Closing Deals: Manage opportunities from discovery through proposal, negotiation, follow-up and close.
• Managing Performance: Use HubSpot to manage your pipeline, activity, conversion rates, forecasts and revenue performance.
• Working as a Team: Collaborate with our ADRs, Customer Success and Delivery teams to create a great experience from first conversation through to onboarding.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in regular sales coaching, training and development to keep improving your skills and performance.

Skills and experience that will help you succeed:

• At least 1 year of experience in an Account Executive, Business Development or sales role.
• A demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and closing new business.
• Experience in a fast-paced sales environment will be highly regarded.
• Experience selling SaaS, marketplaces, digital marketing, technology or subscription products would be advantageous.
• Strong discovery and solution-selling skills – you're comfortable asking good questions and making a recommendation rather than simply presenting a product.
• Confidence communicating with customers over the phone, virtually and in person.
• Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot.
• Strong organisation and pipeline management skills.
• A proactive mindset – you're happy to create your own opportunities when needed.
