Help organisations strengthen their cyber resilience while building lasting client relationships

Are you someone who enjoys winning new business, building trusted relationships and helping customers solve real business challenges?

We're looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to combine new business development with ongoing account management, giving you ownership of the entire customer journey from first conversation through to long-term partnership.

You'll work with organisations across a wide range of industries, helping them improve their cyber security posture through managed security services, incident response, cyber resilience programs and specialist cyber consulting services.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building genuine relationships, understanding client needs and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll be equally comfortable prospecting for new opportunities, running consultative sales conversations and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to support their evolving security requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities across a range of industries.
  • Generating leads through networking, referrals, industry events and proactive outreach.
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Developing trusted relationships with senior business leaders, IT teams and key decision-makers.
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Creating account growth plans and identifying opportunities to expand services.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their evolving business and cybersecurity needs.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations, proposals and solution recommendations.
  • Coordinating internal technical teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Representing Solis at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting and account information within our CRM.
  • Collaborating with marketing, technical and service delivery teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Contributing to strategic partnerships and channel opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Essential
  • Experience in business development, account management or B2B sales.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A consultative approach with a genuine focus on understanding client needs.
  • Confidence engaging with executives, business owners, IT leaders and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated and results-focused mindset.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Highly Regarded
  • Experience selling managed services, professional services, software, technology or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience working within cyber security, IT services, SaaS, insurance or professional services environments.
  • Understanding of cyber security concepts and risks.
  • Existing relationships across the Australian business community.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales forecasting.
  • Experience managing both new business and existing customer relationships.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy building relationships as much as closing deals.

We're looking for someone who is curious, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys helping clients solve problems. You'll be willing to learn, comfortable speaking with people at all levels and motivated by creating long-term value rather than simply chasing transactions.

Cybersecurity experience is beneficial, but not essential. We're far more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, relationship-building skills and desire to learn.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

  • Be part of a GLOBAL team with operations across Australia, the UK and the USA.
  • Work with highly respected brand in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Exposure to a broad range of clients, industries and cyber security services.
  • Genuine career development and growth opportunities.
  • Fun team events and a workplace that genuinely values your contribution.
