Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive - B2B SaaS based in Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity for a full-cycle sales professional to help build and scale a repeatable B2B SaaS sales motion.
You’ll own the customer journey from outbound prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
The role focuses on selling practical technology that solves real operational challenges for warehouse and distribution teams.
You’ll work closely with leadership, product, and customers, gaining direct insight into the market and influencing the evolution of the sales process.
The environment is remote-first, fast-paced, collaborative, and built around high ownership rather than micromanagement.
Success will come from your ability to build pipeline, understand operational pain points, earn buyer trust, and consistently close new business.
It’s an ideal role for an entrepreneurial salesperson who enjoys building processes while delivering measurable commercial results.
Accountabilities:
- Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and lead generation through discovery, demonstrations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline targeting warehouses, distribution centres, and logistics organizations.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand operational workflows, pain points, and business priorities.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the needs of warehouse, operations, supply chain, and logistics stakeholders.
- Develop disciplined follow-up processes and maintain accurate pipeline management to consistently move opportunities toward close.
- Learn the product, customer workflows, and industry landscape deeply to communicate the value of the solution effectively.
- Work closely with leadership and product teams to refine messaging, improve the demo experience, and develop a scalable sales process.
- Bring customer and market feedback back to the product organization to help influence product priorities and improvements.
- Contribute to the transition from a founder-led sales approach toward a more repeatable and scalable commercial motion.
- Take ownership of sales targets and revenue outcomes while continuously identifying opportunities to improve sales efficiency and performance.
Requirements:
- 3–10 years of experience in B2B sales, with demonstrated success in a quota-carrying or revenue-focused environment.
- Proven experience managing a full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations or demos, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong outbound prospecting skills and the ability to independently create and develop pipeline.
- Excellent discovery, communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with warehouse, operations, supply chain, logistics, and other operational leaders.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate operational problems into compelling business value.
- Comfortable working with practical, process-oriented buyers and selling technology that delivers tangible operational outcomes.
- Highly organized and disciplined in managing opportunities, follow-ups, priorities, and pipeline activity.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively without an extensive existing playbook or highly structured sales organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to continuously improve processes.
- Experience selling technical, operational, logistics, or other B2B SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with founders, product teams, customers, and other stakeholders in a high-ownership environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation: Base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Expected first-year OTE: Approximately $120,000–$160,000+ CAD, with additional upside for strong performance.
- Remote-first: Work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
- Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, and other core benefits.
- High-trust culture: Significant autonomy, ownership, and limited micromanagement.
- Direct influence: Opportunities to shape the sales strategy, processes, messaging, and product direction.
- Close collaboration: Direct access to leadership, product teams, and customers.
- Annual team retreat and opportunities to build strong connections with colleagues.
- High-impact environment: Work in a small, ambitious team where your contributions and results are visible quickly.
