What You'll Do

As an Architecture Sales Specialist, you will serve as the trusted technical and business advisor for your architecture, partnering with account teams to help customers solve complex business challenges through Cisco's technology portfolio.

You will work closely with customers, account teams, solution engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop architecture strategies, shape customer opportunities, and position Cisco as a strategic partner. By combining deep technical expertise with business and industry knowledge, you will influence customer technology decisions, differentiate Cisco from the competition, and accelerate business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Solution Engineers to develop and execute architecture strategies for strategic customer accounts.
• Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business priorities, technical challenges, and digital transformation objectives.
• Position Cisco's architecture solutions by aligning technology capabilities with customer business outcomes.
• Influence technical and business decision-makers, including IT leaders, Line of Business stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
• Develop compelling solution strategies, business cases, and technical proposals that demonstrate measurable customer value.
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements to validate Cisco solutions and accelerate customer adoption.
• Collaborate across Cisco's portfolio teams to develop integrated solutions that address customer requirements across multiple architectures.
• Apply competitive intelligence and market insights to differentiate Cisco solutions and strengthen customer positioning.
• Build architecture-specific account plans and contribute to long-term customer technology roadmaps.
• Support complex sales opportunities through technical strategy, solution design, forecasting, and commercial planning.
• Provide customer feedback and market insights to product and engineering teams to influence future product innovation.

You'll collaborate closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Customer Experience, Product Management, Business Units, Partners, and cross-functional sales teams while engaging directly with customer technical leaders, architects, IT executives, and business decision makers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, technical sales, solution consulting, or architecture sales.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions within Networking, Security, Collaboration, Cloud, Data Center, Observability, or AI.
• Strong consultative selling, customer discovery, and solution development skills.
• Experience leading technical discussions, workshops, Proof of Concept (PoC), and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements.
• Ability to engage and influence technical leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of competitive technology landscapes and enterprise IT trends.
• Strong understanding of business value, ROI development, and solution positioning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working collaboratively across sales, engineering, product, and partner organizations.
