Your Impact

As a Account Executive – Architecture (Collaboration) at Cisco, you become a key player in shaping the future of collaboration, digital engagement and hybrid work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with groundbreaking technologies. You will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation in the German Public Sector by delivering secure, scalable, and AI-powered collaboration solutions that enhance employee experience and citizen engagement.

As part of our team, you will champion collaboration architecture transformation and be responsible for driving the Webex, Contact Center, and CPaaS business in the German Public Sector. To achieve this, we are looking for someone with strong sales skills, a solid technical foundation, influence capabilities, and the ability to articulate Cisco’s values.

Market Opportunity and Strategy

• Contribute to the high-touch segment strategy, build and implement a collaboration growth plan based on the market opportunity within the German Public Sector.

Customer Engagement and Opportunity Development

• Direct engagement with customers and partners.
• Work closely with the portfolio sales teams to grow and expand the collaboration funnel.
• Actively contribute to the account planning process.

Programmatic Campaign Ownership

• Own and drive programmatic architectural campaigns to generate incremental pipelines for focus segments, including leading and delivering one-to-many events for customers and partners.

Competitive Differentiation

• Leverage Cisco’s collaboration technology portfolio to align with and address public sector business objectives, including hybrid work, digital government services, and modernized citizen contact centers.

Continuous Learning and Coaching

• Coach portfolio teams on solution value—from feature to outcome and business impact, including Cisco platform positioning.
• Invest time in personal education, continually developing your technical skills, business insight, and vertical/industry knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in collaboration or unified communications solutions with proven success in selling end-to-end IT solutions.
• Solid understanding of Cisco's collaboration portfolio and strategy.
• Superb communication and collaboration skills with the ability to understand customer needs and align solutions with their business objectives.
• Ability to manage a pipeline, develop and execute account plans, and implement data-driven strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical selling skills in Webex, Contact Center, CPaaS, and hybrid work technologies. Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as AI-driven meeting insights and automated customer engagement tools.
• Understanding of complex sales cycles within the Public Sector with a strong ability to accelerate sales.
• Ability to take ownership of objectives and results and operate without needing detailed management.
