SUMMARY The Account Executive (AE) – Acute Care is responsible for sales, support, promotion and service of Owen Mumford products to acute care accounts within an assigned geography to meet or exceed sales objectives. Account segments include local, regional, and large hospitals, integrated delivery networks, aggregation groups, and hospital owned ancillary healthcare facilities. AE will operate within company policies and procedures and demonstrate a high degree of compliant and ethical behaviors.
Territory responsibility includes the Northeast U.S. region, spanning Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS: Four (4) year college degree and Two (2) years sales experience (Medical/Pharmaceutical/Managed Care industry experience preferred). Excellent communication and sales skills. Must be willing to travel, including evenings and weekends as required. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Proficient computer skills (CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Competitive base salary based on experience and qualifications: $90,000-$110,000 (subject to variation and not including variable commission).
Posted salary ranges are provided in good faith. embecta reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, external market conditions, and internal equity considerations.
