Account Executive – HVAC Kelowna area

We’re recruiting for an experienced HVAC sales professional to take ownership of a key territory covering Kelowna and area.

This is a true outside sales/business development role for someone who enjoys being in the field, developing new relationships and winning business. You’ll spend approximately 80% of your time in the market, working directly with HVAC contractors, builders and key industry decision-makers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Build and grow relationships with HVAC contractors and builders
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
• Grow existing accounts while expanding market share
• Recruit and develop new authorized dealers
• Represent the organization at HVAC industry events and associations
• Track pipeline, sales and territory performance using Salesforce

What we’re looking for:

• Proven outside sales or business development experience
• Strong HVAC and/or construction industry knowledge
• Demonstrated success winning new business and growing a territory
• Strong relationships within the HVAC contractor market are a definite asset
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a large geographic territory
