Position is telecommute eligible. For candidates to be considered, they must reside in PA or OH.
Performs sales and sales support activities related to prospective and/or existing clients, prepares and delivers presentations and identifies opportunities with existing clients for additional product lines, alternative funding methods or additional benefit solutions.
Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________
1. Proactively supports the Employee Benefits Sales Team, allowing Account Executives/Advisors more sales and face to face time with clients and referral sources.
2. Responds to the sales needs of the Sales Team for specific cases as necessary.
3. With superior attention to detail, works with various clients across many industries, products and funding methods.
4. Manages more complex, and often self-funded accounts.
5. Acquires utilization reports from carriers for specific clients and analyzes strategies to create cost reduction.
6. Creates models and presentations that show evidence of cost improvement strategies through wellness programs, employee behavioral changes and/or contribution adjustments.
7. Attends client meetings with Sales Team to present findings and conduct presentations on cost improvement or cost containment strategies based on utilization data.
8. Maintains working knowledge of methods and products specifically designed for area of specialty; and the ability to ability to analyze reporting and discuss strategically with clients.
9. Maintains awareness of Federal and State regulations that affect a client’s EB program.
10. Performs proper follow up and is committed to established service standards of the business line.
11. Utilizes and documents in client management system per verbal and written processes and procedures.
12. Conducts enrollment meetings with clients and their employees.
13. Meets with and develops/deepens relationships with various insurance carrier representatives.
14. Attends periodic training and regional team meetings with affiliate partners.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________
1. A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
2. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required as is keen attention to detail.
3. Technically savvy with account management system proficiency.
4. Must obtain PA Life, Accident & Health licensing within 12 months of hire.
5. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel are required.
6. May be eligible for Telecommuting.
