A well capitalized, established final mile courier and freight logistics company in the Atlanta market is building out its hunter sales team as it scales toward an ambitious multi year growth plan. This is a true new business role: you'll spend part of your week on the phone building pipeline and part of your week face to face with prospective customers across industries like healthcare, construction, HVAC, and manufacturing, owning your territory and your numbers from first call through close.
Required Qualifications
• 2 to 3+ years of proven B2B outside/hunter sales experience, with a track record of self sourced pipeline and new business development (not primarily account management)
• Experience managing a full sales cycle independently, from prospecting through close
• Valid driver's license and a clean, insurable driving record
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule split between in office pipeline building days and field days meeting customers in person
• Comfortable with a commission heavy, largely cold outreach driven sales role
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's customer base and revenue
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across industries including healthcare, construction, HVAC, and manufacturing
• Conduct in person customer visits to understand needs, present tailored solutions, and build trust
• Proactively research and target potential customers within the final mile and expedited delivery markets
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to close, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention
• Track and report on sales performance and pipeline activity using a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
• Collaborate with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Compensation & Benefits
• $80,000 base salary plus uncapped commission + benefits
• On target earnings: entry level reps around $165,000, mid range performers $225,000 to $230,000, top performers $300,000+
