We are partnering with a leading provider of commercial flooring specification and project management software to identify a Sales Executive focused on driving new customer acquisition and expanding market adoption throughout the East and Central United States.
This is a fully remote, technology-focused sales role designed for professionals who understand the commercial construction, flooring, architecture, design, or specification environment. Primary market coverage includes major commercial markets throughout the Eastern and Central time zones, with all product demonstrations and customer interactions conducted virtually.
The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-building skills with a disciplined outbound sales approach and a consultative mindset. This position offers the opportunity to sell a highly adopted software platform with exceptional customer retention, a proven value proposition, and a well-established presence within the commercial flooring industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified commercial prospects throughout the assigned territory
• Conduct outbound prospecting activities using company-provided lead lists and target accounts
• Schedule and deliver virtual software demonstrations to prospective customers
• Educate commercial flooring professionals on platform capabilities, workflow improvements, and business benefits
• Build relationships with key decision-makers across commercial flooring and construction organizations
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer records within CRM systems
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the evaluation and purchasing process
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
Ideal Background
• Experience selling software, technology solutions, or business services preferred
• Commercial flooring, commercial construction, architectural, design, specification, or related industry experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record of business development and outbound sales success
• Strong presentation and virtual communication skills
• Comfortable conducting software demonstrations and consultative sales conversations
• Ability to build relationships with commercial decision-makers and industry professionals
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working remotely and managing a sales territory independently
• Comfortable with CRM platforms, virtual meeting tools, and technology-driven sales environments
