Our client is hiring an Account Executive to own and grow the events and activations segment. This is a full cycle sales role, you’ll drive the pipeline, close the deals, and hand off to our onboarding and success team.
Own the full sales cycle for events and activations from prospecting through close and handoff to our onboarding and client success team.
Build and run outbound prospecting identify and pursue opportunities at conferences, trade shows, corporate events, and activations.
Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline, such as activity, track deal stages, and keep data clean in HubSpot, manage your funnel front to back with discipline.
Partner with our Logistics team on scoping, pricing, and delivery planning for closed deals
Maintain our deep roster of clients, turn one-time activations into repeat customers with excellent service and hospitality.
Travel as needed, attend events, meet prospects, and represent the organization in the field (travel is a shared responsibility across the business, not the core of this role but you’ll need to be ready when it’s required (approx once a month).
Experiment with sales tooling and AI, explore tools like Clay, Claude, and sequencing platforms to sharpen your outreach and stay ahead.
What we are looking for:
3-5+ years experience in trade shows, conferences, or event planning.
Proven experience in outbound sales, prospecting, qualifying, closing and hand off.
Proficiency with sales tooling: CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce), sequencing tools, and pipeline management
Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA.
Familiarity with AI-powered sales and productivity tools. Clay, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar is a bonus.
You’ve sold into corporate, experiential, or event-driven markets before
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. In addition, this position is eligible for other compensation such as commission.
