Your Impact as an Account Executive

Revenue Generation & Business Development

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with small, medium, and large businesses plus advertising agencies throughout Utah
  • Uncover new opportunities by understanding each client's business challenges and demonstrating how our integrated media solutions drive measurable results
  • Implement data-driven strategies to consistently exceed revenue targets while building long-term client partnerships

Strategic Campaign Development

  • Create compelling, multi-platform advertising campaigns that leverage the unique strengths of broadcast television, streaming TV, and digital advertising
  • Present innovative media strategies that showcase how traditional broadcast reach combines with digital precision targeting
  • Develop customized advertising schedules and campaign timelines that align with client goals and market opportunities

Client Partnership & Consultation

  • Serve as a trusted media advisor, educating clients on emerging advertising trends and technologies
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations that demonstrate the power of integrated broadcast and digital campaigns
  • Provide comprehensive market insights, competitive analysis, and performance metrics to guide client decision-making

Community Leadership

  • Represent KTVX TV and Nexstar Digital as a visible leader in Utah’s business community
  • Build meaningful relationships that extend beyond advertising partnerships
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of sales professionals, creative specialists, and digital experts

What You Bring to the Team

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or related field
  • Alternatively, equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Track record of achieving long-term objectives and implementing successful strategies

Core Competencies

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver engaging presentations
  • Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance and market data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Professional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation for client meetings throughout the market
  • Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn new advertising platforms and tools
