PetPlaceis seeking a nAccount Executive, responsible for driving growth ofour Shelter Management Software suite.The desired candidate will take on the role ofInternalAdvocate for clientsandcustomers with regards to products and services offerings.This is a quota carrying role and seeking a candidate with a hunter mentality to expand our market share with an exciting new software launch.
Job Location:Remote - Illinois
This position is remote, and you will work from a home office. Occasionally, travel to the nearest office may berequiredfor in-person activities such as team meetings,industry conferences,training, and culture-building events.
Main Responsibilities:
Proactively pursues sales leadsof shelter and rescue organizations in the US and Canada.
Responsible fordevelopmentof new accountsthrough cold calls, targeted emails, socialsellingand follow up from inbound leads.
Responsible for keeping up to date on industry trends and competitive offerings and communicating this information to thebusiness.
Builds and executes sales strategies,identifiesnew opportunities/leads, andgeneratessales reports.
Tailors’ sales presentation to individual businesses using strong presentation delivery skills.
Negotiatesrates,based on department procedures/processes.
Attends trade shows, exhibitions, and company meetings asrequired
Optimizesand harnesses a sales system to drive sales andmaintainsdetailed records at an account level.
Manages a budget from a travel and expense perspective for maximum return.
Performs other duties andresponsibilities asassigned.
Basic Qualifications:
4 yearsin B2Bsales, and/or relevant experience
Up to 20% travelrequired
Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residency
Demonstrated Sales experience
Business acumen is developed, andminimaloversight isrequiredtomakeappropriate impactfulbusiness decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling Animal Health software highly preferred
Demonstratedexperience building sales pipelines
Education: bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
