About the Role:
The Account Executive is a pivotal role within the PMCF team, responsible for the day-to-day leadership and flawless execution of a high volume of integrated marketing campaigns. This position demands a unique combination of exceptional client relationship management, astute problem-solving capabilities, and rigorous operational expertise with an unwavering attention to detail. As a primary point of contact, you will cultivate strong client partnerships, ensuring seamless project delivery against demanding timelines. Critical to success is your ability to foster effective collaboration across the agency and fully leverage the WPP Open ecosystem to develop innovative and integrated solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Relationship Management:
● Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to requests and providing regular project updates.
● Build and maintain positive client relationships, fostering trust and open communication.
● Proactively anticipate client needs and identify opportunities to add value within the scope of assigned projects.
Project Management & Delivery:
● Lead the day-to-day management of integrated marketing projects, ensuring seamless execution across all channels.
● Develop and manage detailed project timelines.
● Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards, brand guidelines, and client expectations before presentation
● Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
● Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
Strategic Campaign Planning & Development:
● Collaborate with strategy, creative, and media teams to develop integrated campaign plans that align with client objectives and target audiences.
● Development of creative briefs and comms matrices for owned campaigns - email, social and web and event collateral and merch projects.
● Translate strategic insights into actionable project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Creative Acumen & Analysis:
● Actively engage with creative concepts, providing informed feedback and asking probing questions to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and client expectations.
● Develop a strong understanding of effective creative principles, identifying what resonates with target audiences and what may fall short.
● Analyze creative performance data (often in partnership with strategy team) to understand what works and doesn't, informing future creative direction and optimization.
● Champion innovative creative solutions, knowing when and how to push boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.
● Facilitate constructive dialogue between creative teams and clients, translating feedback effectively and advocating for strong creative work.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
● Identify opportunities to optimize project workflows and improve team efficiency.
● Implement best-practice project management methodologies and tools.
● Contribute to the development of agency-wide operational standards and guidelines.
WPP Open Integration:
● Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage the full capabilities of WPP Open, ensuring its integration into every aspect of our projects. This involves working closely with all skill sets within your team to foster a dynamic and agile environment that continuously embraces technological advancements. By doing so, we aim to deliver maximum output and effectiveness across the entire content supply chain network.
Skills & Experience:
● 1-3 years of experience in account management or project management within a creative agency, adept at navigating complex agency workflows.
● Experience leading projects independently and collaboratively (with senior account team support).
● Expertise in managing multiple projects (20+) to tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
● Exceptional client relationship management skills, including building trust, setting clear expectations, adeptly handling challenging conversation
● Extremely high attention to detail.
● Highly proactive and responsive.
● Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
● Superior organizational abilities, time management, and strategic prioritization skills to effectively manage competing demands and deliverables.
● Proficiency in managing diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration
● Familiarity with agency systems and technologies, including the WPP Open ecosystem (or a strong willingness to rapidly learn and leverage new platforms).

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from CA$39,750 to CA$66,250. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
