FireTron is seeking a seasoned, results-driven Account Executive to support and drive sales growth within the assigned market. This role is responsible for expanding services with existing customers, prospecting new business, and maintaining exceptional customer responsiveness and satisfaction.
The Account Executive plays a critical role in FireTron’s sales organization by managing the full sales cycle, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering consultative solutions across fire alarm, sprinkler, security, and integrated technology systems. This position is ideal for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and consistently exceeds revenue and margin targets.
The Account Executive reports to the Sales Director and works closely with Sales Administration, Marketing, Operations, and Contract Administration to ensure successful execution from opportunity identification through booking and handoff.
Responsibilities:
The Account Executive is responsible for driving and supporting overall sales initiatives for FireTron. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, prospective customers, vendors, AHJs, and internal FireTron teams
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and networking
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, ensuring transparency and alignment at each stage
- Develop, present, and tailor proposals that align with customer needs, project scope, and business objectives
- Successfully close sales and service opportunities and prepare complete booking packages for internal distribution
- Ensure contract language accurately reflects proposed scope, pricing, and FireTron’s best interests; negotiate unfavorable or inaccurate terms as needed
- Utilize CRM tools (Monday.com) to track customer contacts, opportunities, proposals, site information, and sales activity
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure required sales processes are followed consistently
- Participate in sales meetings, one-on-ones, and team discussions to share successes, challenges, and market insights
- Engage in industry trade shows, customer events, and networking opportunities to generate new leads and strengthen relationships
- Coordinate with Sales Administration, Marketing, and Contract Administration to support booking and project transitions
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, including activity, responsiveness, revenue, margin, and pipeline health
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain technical knowledge, software proficiency, and industry awareness
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue and profit targets
- Strong understanding of fire protection, security, and/or communication systems and services
- Advanced knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, responsiveness, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales analytics tools (Monday.com preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel within assigned territory or region as required
Preferred Skills:
- Subject matter expertise in at least one FireTron discipline (fire alarm, sprinkler, integrated technology, etc.)
- Experience with FireTron-related software platforms such as Sage Estimating, TechTool, BuildingConnected, and Anterra
- Strong professional presence with a consultative, customer-first sales approach
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong internal partnerships
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed expectations
