Who are we looking for?
Within the Service Provider Business Unit, we enable partners — including carriers, resellers, and technology providers — to deliver innovative communication and collaboration services powered by Gamma’s robust network, cloud infrastructure, and service excellence.
As Account Director – Business Development, Service Provider, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new service provider partners in Germany while also driving significant growth with a select group of high-potential new partners in the UK. Reporting into the Head of New Business, this is a hybrid role combining new partner acquisition with early-stage partner growth and development, ensuring new relationships scale rapidly and profitably.
This role suits a commercially driven, internationally minded sales leader who thrives in complex partner environments and can balance strategic relationship building with hands-on deal execution.

What will you be doing day-to-day?
• Identify, target, and acquire new service provider partners across Germany, aligned to Gamma’s Service Provider growth strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of the German service provider and carrier landscape, including regulatory, commercial, and competitive dynamics.
• Build strong executive-level relationships with prospective partners, positioning Gamma as a long-term strategic supplier.
• Own and grow a portfolio of newly onboarded, high-potential UK service provider partners, driving rapid revenue acceleration post-signature.
• Identify expansion opportunities across Gamma’s UCaaS/CCaaS, connectivity, and cloud portfolio, developing joint growth plans with partners.
• Act as the senior commercial point of contact during the early lifecycle of the partner relationship.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder commercial opportunities, including pricing, commercials, and contractual negotiations.
• Personally close high-value, strategically important deals in both Germany and the UK.
• Work closely with relevant business areas to ensure partner propositions are compelling and locally relevant.
• Ensure smooth handover of partners into longer-term account management or strategic account teams where appropriate.
• Own and manage an accurate new business and growth pipeline, maintaining strong forecasting discipline through Gamma’s CRM systems.
• Proactively identify risks and blockers within deals and partner engagements, driving timely resolution.
What you’ll need:
• Significant experience in telecoms, UCaaS, cloud communications, or connectivity, with a strong background in service provider or carrier sales.
• Proven track record of new business acquisition and early-stage partner growth.
• Experience managing and closing complex, high-value B2B or carrier-level deals.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate credibly at executive level.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Germany.
• Existing network within the German and/or wider European service provider ecosystem. (desirable)
• Experience working in international or cross-border sales roles (desirable)
• Familiarity with Gamma’s portfolio, wholesale, or channel models (desirable)

A few things to note
• Unfortunately, we can't offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for this role.
• This role is Home based with travel required to customer site and offices across the UK when needed,
• If you feel you could be a good fit for Gamma but do not think that you meet all the requirements, we still encourage you to apply as you could be the person that we are looking for!
