THE ROLE

As a Director, Platinum Programs, your primary responsibility will be to oversee Platinum Programs in the pre-planning and on-site delivery stages including all of the client’s pre-determined, evolving or last-minute arrangements during the contractual period. This role focuses on supporting a consistent vision across all program delivery, ensuring seamless logistics and providing exceptional experiences for custom groups during the event. You will work closely with various On Location Functional Areas to coordinate resources, manage vendors, and maintain high-quality service delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Platinum Program Operational Execution
  • Work closely with the clients to understand the pre-defined program and specific requirements for each custom group.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate execution of the program, adhering to the established schedule and guidelines. 
  • Oversee the collaboration among the client teams and their integration of on-site coordination of logistics, including transportation, accommodation, F&B, ticketing, and special events, ensuring smooth operations for custom groups.
  1. Vendor and Supplier Management
  • Collaborate with the Relevant FAs in regard to finalizing and managing contracts with vendors and suppliers for services related to custom group activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance during the Olympic Games, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and high service quality.
  • Resolve any operational issues or concerns related to vendors promptly, ensuring minimal impact on the custom group experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers to address logistical requirements, make necessary adjustments, and ensure a smooth delivery process.
  1. Resource Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including but not limited to operations IVN, Premium Servicing, ACM, SPE, TKT, PRO, ACR, TRA and WFO (staffing) to coordinate resources for custom group activities.
  • Manage a pre-screened and hand selected staffing team assigned to the customer group program to ensure the operational delivery of the program.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary equipment, staff, and facilities to support the successful execution of the program.
  • Optimize resource allocations to meet operational needs efficiently, considering factors such as group size, location, and specific requirements.
  1. On-Site Problem Solving
  • Proactively identify and address any operational issues or challenges that may arise during the Olympic Games.
  • Implement contingency plans and workarounds to mitigate disruptions and maintain a high level of service for custom groups.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal impact on the overall program.
  1. Customer Satisfaction
  • Work closely with program team, acting as a central point of contact for on-site operational matters.
  • Address any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for custom group participants.
  • Collect feedback from platinum program team and participants, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary adjustments to enhance customer satisfaction.
  1. Budget and Financial Coordination
  • Work closely with Business Development and Finance to ensure the budget allocated to the program is respected as planned. Ensure that the budget aligns with the overall financial plan and goals of On Location.
  • Assist in monitoring expenditures throughout the program, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and identifying cost-saving opportunities related to the custom group program, including suppliers, transportation, accommodation, F&B, and other event services. Identify potential areas for cost reduction or optimization without compromising the quality of the client experience.

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$120,000 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$160,000 annually
