ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an Account Director to join our team in Milan. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic leadership with commercial acumen, inspires teams to do their best work and builds trusted partnerships with clients at the highest level. You'll work in a collaborative, international environment, leading multidisciplinary teams and partnering with clients, strategists, creatives and specialists across different markets and disciplines. From shaping client strategy to driving business growth and mentoring the next generation of talent, you'll play a key role in the success of both our clients and our agency.
Key Responsibilities
Build long-term strategic partnerships with clients and act as their trusted advisor and senior point of contact.
Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, clarity, and excellence throughout projects.
Work closely with strategy, creative, production, and specialist teams to develop strong client recommendations and ensure high-quality execution.
Oversee account performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with commercial objectives.
Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and drive organic business development across the wider M+C Saatchi network.
Mentor and develop account teams, creating an environment that encourages growth, ownership, and success.
ABOUT YOU
Significant experience as an Account Director or in a similar senior client leadership role within a creative, advertising, or communications agency.
Proven track record of leading integrated communication programmes for complex local and international clients.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing account profitability and identifying growth opportunities.
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Curious, entrepreneurial, and collaborative, with a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
