Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Account Director, Beauty EMEA to join our team. This role focuses on driving new business development across the EMEA region while managing an existing portfolio of Beauty customers. It combines strategic account management with proactive engagement of premium Beauty brands. The position requires a hands-on approach, strong commercial skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

Location France-based, remote working. Preference for candidates located within easy reach of Paris or a major international airport.

Travel Up to 50% across EMEA

The Role

• Win new strategic accounts
• Grow and develop existing accounts across Europe.
• Create targeted prospecting plans and execute strategic sales initiatives.
• Manage long and complex sales cycles through strategic planning, targeted actions, and consistent follow-up.
• Identify and engage the right stakeholders, including Marketing, Research and Development, and senior leaders or founders, within small and international enterprises.
• Travel regularly throughout Western Europe.

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

• Proven track record of winning new business and growing strategic customer accounts within the Beauty, Personal Care, Consumer Health or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of the Beauty and Personal Care market, with the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships and convert prospects into long-term customers.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities and influencing senior stakeholders in international, matrixed organisations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and commercial planning skills, with strong discipline around pipeline management, forecasting and follow-up.
• Self-motivated, resilient and able to work autonomously while balancing business development and account growth objectives.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel across the EMEA region.

Preferred Skills & Background

• Experience within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization environment and/or the Beauty, Personal Care, Home Care or Nutraceutical sectors.
• Existing network and industry relationships within the Beauty and Personal Care market.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, international and matrixed environment, working collaboratively across functions, regions and cultures.
• Strong organisational skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability.
• Additional European language skills would be advantageous.
