What you will do:
Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Account Director, Data Sales plays a critical role in shaping how data-driven and programmatic solutions are brought to life for our clients and agency partners. You will work closely with regional and national sales teams to deliver innovative data solutions that maximize revenue and enhance campaign performance across a privacy-first, cookie-less environment. In this role, you will lead strategic conversations with clients, helping them unlock the value of deterministic, first-party audience targeting and seamlessly integrate data into existing Cinema and OOH activations. You will be a trusted partner to clients, balancing commercial outcomes with long-term relationship building, while championing client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
This is a hybrid position. Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.
Responsibilities:
Accurately forecast and deliver on revenue targets
Secure buy-in from our agency and client partners by communicating the value provided by Cineplex first party audiences
Work with the wider team to proactively identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and opportunities to amplify existing / upcoming activations
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing a solutions-oriented approach to their unique business challenges
Keep senior stakeholders informed and maintain transparent communication
Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to ensure alignment on goals, allocation of responsibilities and delivery
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
Experience in media planning, strategy, sales, or a related client-facing role
A proven ability to drive revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Demonstrated success developing, nurturing, and managing long-term client and agency relationships
Comfort leading strategic conversations and translating complex data or media concepts into clear, compelling value propositions
A collaborative mindset, with an interest in both personal development and supporting the growth of others
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills and a solutions-oriented approach to client challenges
