The Gig
Praytell is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. This hands-on role will offer you the opportunity to develop your media, influencer and social skills as you learn the fundamentals of strategic communications and brand storytelling. You’ll be working across an enviable roster of consumer accounts as part of a dedicated and tight knit team that takes the work seriously, but not ourselves. You’ll ideally have some internship, agency or relevant industry experience, be up with the news cycle, curious about cultural trends, and eager to make your mark in an ever-changing industry.
No two days look the same, but you can expect to spend your time:
- Working on a brilliant mix of global, emerging and much-loved consumer brands across retail, travel and tourism, sports and lifestyle, tech/entertainment, and more.
- Working with account leads and team mates that you’ll love learning from to support PR and creator programs from go to woah.
- Learning the fundamentals of media outreach, identifying stories to tell, trends to tap into and sharpening your skills with each successful send.
- Pitching to journalists and building your network of friendly contacts, immersing yourself in media daily to understand what makes something newsworthy.
- Supporting influencer campaigns, leveraging tools and tapping into communities to identify fresh and interesting talent, building relationships with creators across the country.
- Supporting admin tasks, media and influencer reporting and the delivery of robust gifting programs with detail orientation and supreme organisation.
- Bringing your unique perspective and bright ideas to creative brainstorms, and energy and optimism to problem solving big and small.
