Job Description

About the role and team

Uber is on a mission to move commerce around the world, connecting millions of users with a wide variety of partners. At the heart of this engine is our Expansion team. We are dedicated to ensuring our partners—from large enterprise brands to local independent businesses—achieve their full potential on the Uber platform.

Our team is a dynamic, collaborative, and results-oriented group that thrives on building strong relationships and delivering operational excellence. The Account Coordinator is a pivotal role within this ecosystem, serving as the foundational support of the account management team.

What You'll Do

As an Account Coordinator, you will act as the operational backbone for our client-facing teams with our Account Managers and Customer Success Managers. Your primary focus is to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall partner experience for some of our largest partners by providing comprehensive administrative, reporting, and process support. You will be expected to master our internal systems and workflows, providing the seamless support that allows our commercial teams to scale and our partners to thrive.

Client Communication & Support:

  • Partner closely with Account Managers (AMs) to deeply understand specific customer needs and nuances across the portfolio.
  • Serve as a point of contact for merchant complaints and inbound inquiries, resolving issues directly where possible or routing them to the correct teams.
  • Own database management, ensuring client information and communication history remain accurate and up-to-date within our systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Sales Process Support:

  • Collaborate with AMs and CSMs to identify growth opportunities, helping prepare the data and documentation needed for upselling new products or features.
  • Prepare and update regular performance dashboards and reporting decks to help AMs/CSMs deliver high-impact business reviews to their partners
  • Assist AMs in the creation of product demonstrations, pitches, and customer-facing presentations.

Administrative Support:

  • Remove friction from the team's day-to-day by optimizing administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate complex scheduling, including setting up key client meetings, calls, and internal alignment sessions.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Own the generation, basic analysis, and summary of critical order management and performance reports for the team.
  • Distill observations and provide valuable feedback to internal teams regarding customer feedback and evolving market trends.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in an account coordination, sales support, operations, customer success, or similar administrative role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple overlapping priorities and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional empathy and problem-solving.
  • A proactive mindset, with the natural inclination to look for ways to improve workflows and save time for their team.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on data hygiene and process improvement.
  • A “go get it” attitude, with the resourcefulness to solve problems independently before escalating

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, specifically Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Prior experience in a technology company, logistics, or a high-growth, fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and/or Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of comfort analyzing data.
  • Proficient understanding of analyzing data

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
