Job Description

The Account Consultant I provides day-to-day account management and cultivates relationships with an assigned group of fleet management clients, striving to continuously exceed customer expectations and deliver on time orders. Focuses on accurate order execution, responsive customer service, and timely coordination with internal teams, vendors, and dealerships.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Compensation: $52,000-$62,000/yr

Essential Job Duties

  • Review incoming orders to ensure all information has been collected; expedite urgent orders and track through completion; follow up with internal departments on details related to order processing and initiate problem resolution as needed.
  • Contact dealerships regarding vehicle availability for up-fitting, decal installs, and key programming; release vehicles for pickup and delivery of orders to meet client needs; respond to customer questions and requests via email and phone in a timely manner.
  • Generate ongoing client metrics reports and distribute according to schedule; update customer and client data and verify accuracy of information when working in customer files; maintain relationships with key vendors.
  • Audit invoices for accuracy and completion; oversee title and registration processing; administer accounts receivable to help keep client accounts in good standing; represent ACERTUS professionally and take personal responsibility to manage change.

Required Qualifications – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)

  • This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Must have one to three years of experience in customer service, customer contact, or account coordination in an office environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills and abilities commonly associated with this position.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel, and other general office equipment.
  • Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively organize, prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to proactively research and resolve routine problems; understanding basic accounting related to billing and invoices; knowledge of title and registration, project management, transportation, and logistics is helpful.
