Job Description

We are looking for a talented Account Management Specialist to join our team specializing in Sales for our Power Systems Business in Madrid, Spain.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support Senior Strategic Account Managers responsible for large and strategic Accounts
  • Compile quotes, budgets, and high‑level project plans for simple to complex opportunities by gathering and structuring technical data, lead times, cost inputs, and commercial assumptions.
  • Support pipeline management, opportunity tracking, forecasting accuracy, and order intake activities for strategic accounts.
  • Track and communicate opportunity, order, inventory, and delivery status to customer‑facing sales teams and internal stakeholders, proactively identifying issues or risks.
  • Coordinate technical and commercial scope definition between customers, engineering, and sub‑tier suppliers such as enclosures, switchgear, and fuel systems.
  • Receive and process customer orders and organize and lead handovers to project execution, ensuring clarity of scope, assumptions, and responsibilities.
  • Support design coordination and information flow across engineering, operations, sourcing, logistics, and aftersales functions.
  • Participate in customer visits, meetings, and events, supporting senior account managers and making decisions in situations where no predefined procedure exists.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, sourcing, logistics, finance, and service teams to align customer requirements with internal capabilities and support execution quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes across complex account landscapes.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Act as a commercial and technical extension of the senior account team, combining account support, opportunity management, technical coordination, and financial preparation across simple to highly complex projects.
  • Prepare and maintain customer‑specific presentations, summaries, and internal documentation aligned with datacentre customer standards and expectations.
  • Support issue resolution by addressing customer concerns where applicable and engaging the appropriate internal functions when escalation or cross‑functional resolution is required.
  • Ensure structured internal communication to support execution quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.

Education/ Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in a technical, commercial, marketing, sales, or related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • A technical or engineering‑oriented educational background is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable being exposed to complex technical and commercial topics early on and capable of picking up new concepts rapidly.
  • Designed as a foundation role with progression opportunities into account management, sales, or technical‑commercial positions.
