The Job:
As a Account Activation Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to activate our products and brands with key customers/channels. You will leverage your understanding of market trends and customer needs to create tailored concepts, independently manage their implementation, and translate them into individualized/channel-specific marketing plans. Your role is essential in gathering market and customer feedback, analyzing competitors, and identifying new opportunities for differentiation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and manage customized concepts for product and brand activation for defined accounts/channels/target groups. Translate national brand and product strategies into prioritized, integrated action calendars. Develop and implement concepts for brand and product activation at the respective point of sale.

  • Obtain and evaluate market and customer feedback to identify customer needs and trends. Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation. Conduct portfolio analysis and derive sales promotion measures for top customers.

  • Plan and execute promotions and product launches in coordination with Brand Management and Product Marketing. Analyze ongoing and completed campaigns, derive actionable recommendations, and develop standards.

  • Manage activation across various communication channels (online & offline).

  • Ensure effective collaboration with internal interfaces (e.g., Sales, Product Management), especially Key Account Management DIY/Prof. Outdoor.

  • Prepare and conduct meetings, customer visits, and internal events.

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a comparable field.

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within the consumer goods or industrial sector.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with market and customer data.
    Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Result-oriented, intrinsically motivated individual with strong ability to drive change

  • Independent, creative self-starter with ability to work in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment to actively drive transformation

  • German Native Speaker & fluent business English language skills (verbal, written and presentation); additional languages advantageous

  • 5+ years of experience gained across relevant digital marketing disciplines; previous account management within a digital agency is a plus

  • Strong communication & Negotiation skill

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
