Here at UPP we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Enquiries Assistant to join our Reading team.
This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week from 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is £24,655 per annum.
We are looking for an Accommodation Enquiries Assistant to join us at the Reading campus and play a key role in helping us deliver exceptional services. You will work as part of the customer services and sales advisory team, being a key point of contact and guiding students through the full accommodation sales journey, ensuring our services respond to individual and changing needs of students. The difference you make will be evident in continued high occupancy rates and strong student satisfaction feedback.

Role responsibilities will include:
Triage all incoming customer queries via a front facing service desk, telephone calls, live chat enquiries and email enquiries
Provide first response to all student enquiries including tenancy references, proof of residency queries and early arrival enquiries
Assist in delivering student facing sales and administration activity from re-applicant accommodation enquiry through to departure
With marketing colleagues, support the delivery of all year-round accommodation lettings/recruitment and marketing activity to assist in the delivery of lettings
Record and track volumes of face-to-face customer queries, complaints, telephone calls, emails, chatbot queries, and other student related queries as part of the team’s monthly reporting requirements
Attendance at Open days, intake and recruitment events as required with ad hoc weekend requirements
We are looking for you to already be working in an administrative role within a busy environment and be:
· Passionate about delivering excellent customer experience
· An effective communicator who is organised, accurate and focused on the detail
· Motivated to achieve and exceed performance targets
· Proactive with a can do attitude, willing to learn about room management and related
systems/processes
Experience of working within a student and/or sales environment whilst not essential, would be beneficial.
