Organization:

SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyAccommodation Consultant is responsible for leading and building, implementing and measuring the program metrics, audits, and outcomes for the Integrated Disability & Absence Management (IDAM). IDAM programs includes all federal, state, company, and collective bargaining Leave of Absence (LOA) and time off programs, full duty and transitional Return to Work, fitness for duty, drug and alcohol rehabilitation agreements, temporary and long term accommodations under federal and state regulations, including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Amendments Act (ADAAA), Fair Employment Housing Act (FEHA), disability assessments, alternate job search and placement, end of employment during a LOA/Accommodation event, and support services for workers' compensation (WC) administration. The incumbent partners with Sutter and THPM CoE stakeholders, external vendors and management to ensure continuous improvement and cost effective results for operational metric management. The role oversees projects and people to ensure operational compliance with regulatory programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, ADAAA, FEHA and Workers' Compensation) and company leave and disability policies as well as compliance to federal and state regulations.

This is a hybrid role. The person selected for this role must live in the Northern California Sutter Health footprint and come on site as needed for meetings, etc. This is not a Remote role.

EDUCATION:

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of management and staff to achieve desired outcome results.
  • Must have knowledge of IDAM service delivery methods and operations.
  • Must have knowledge of project management principles, methodology and tools.
  • Must have knowledge in LEAN or continuous improvement principals.
  • Must have expert knowledge in delivering reports, measuring ROI and efficiencies, and department budget/cost methodologies to build and justify business case activities.
  • Must have the skills to effectively lead change and transition.
  • Requires collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information between various areas of functional expertise within the system and the affiliates.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage/recommend through functional (vs. line) leadership and personal influence to achieve a positive effect.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships in an extremely fast paced and demanding work environment.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions
  • Must have demonstrated organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects within given timelines.
  • Incumbent must be customer-oriented and positive participant in a teamwork environment.
  • Must have a high commitment to detail and accuracy

Pay Range is $86,216.00 to $129,334.40 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
