The Accessibility and Learning Specialist is a member of the Office of Academic Support, which is housed in the Office of Medical School Student Affairs at The Warren Alpert Medical School (the Medical School). They support the Medical School, and its clinical partners in implementing those accommodations. In addition, the Specialist provides referrals to neuropsychological testing and to other clinicians as indicated. The Specialist also promotes student achievement by improving student academic skills through one-on-one learning consultations as well as group presentations.
