Role Mission

Lead the  Market Access, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), and Pricing strategy for Takeda’s portfolio in Brazil, connecting patient needs, value evidence, and local regulatory requirements to expand and sustain access across  public and private healthcare markets. This role combines strategic leadership, technical excellence, and executive influence, while ensuring the highest standards of  Ethics & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the integrated  Market Access, HEOR, and Pricing strategy for assigned brands, partnering with Business Units and Medical.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing  technical team (managers and specialists), ensuring clear prioritization and delivery excellence.

  • Drive  HTA strategy and submissions across public and private decision-making pathways, ensuring quality, timing, and full compliance with internal policies.

  • Align with Evidence Generation to shape  value narratives and local evidence plans, proactively addressing evidence gaps relevant to access decisions.

  • Lead local  pricing strategy and governance for pricing dossiers for new products and line extensions, aligned with Regional/Global guidance and local requirements.

  • Monitor the external landscape (competition, payer dynamics, regulation) to anticipate risks/opportunities and recommend course corrections.

  • Represent Takeda in strategic  market access forums and stakeholder engagements (payers, healthcare leaders, KOLs, authorities), always within E&C guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in   Pharmacy, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.

  • Preferred: post-graduate training in  Health Economics, HTA, Market Access, Management, or related areas.

  • Demonstrated experience in Brazilian public and private Market Access, including exposure to  HTA and  pricing topics.

  • Strong understanding of Brazil’s  medicines pricing environment, processes, and applicable systems/governance.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop  technical teams, with strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strategic and analytical mindset, able to translate evidence and data into  access and business decisions

  • English proficiencyto operate with Regional/Global teams (meetings and written communication).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with consistent role-model behavior in  Ethics & Compliance
