Summary:
The overall objective of this position is to ensure that organizational safety and security policies and procedures are contextually appropriate, effective, and well understood by all staff, while also providing strategic guidance on humanitarian access processes in close coordination with program teams. Under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator (Access, Safety & Security), the incumbent contributes to informed decision-making through the analysis of security trends and developments, and supports the continuous review, updating, and implementation of IRC’s Security Management Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Contingency Plans (CPs), and risk assessments.
