The Access Coordinator II is a support position in a specialized program providing the Projects for Adolescents and Child Evaluations (PACE) multidisciplinary assessments to children/youths aged birth to 21 years. The successful applicant will work with a team of physicians, advanced practice nurses, psychological examiners, and speech/language pathologists at sites statewide. In addition, the applicant will provide administrative support to the Clinic Directors, Program Specialist, and Program Manager.
High school diploma/GED, plus two (2) years of customer service or healthcare experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have a valid AR driver's license.
Basic computer knowledge (i.e., Outlook, Microsoft Word).
Responsibilities:
Requests records and input data into the computer as requested.
initiates clinical reports for clinicians.
Travel to assigned clinic sites in accordance with the established monthly clinic schedule.
Provides scoring assistance during clinics utilizing computer software.
Completes and distributes patient documents to clinical staff.
Arranges and provides department van transportation according to schedule.
Adheres to the timeliness of the clinic schedule.
Works with other staff to ensure coverage of clinics.
Prepares paperwork/equipment for the clinic, including scanning/indexing of medical records.
Assure supplies are available for clinics.
Ensures billing/documentation forms are completed.
Distributes documentation forms as instructed.
Sends out final reports within 2 days of completion.
Provides support to the Clinic Director, Program Specialist, and Program Manager on projects that include but are not limited to developing data for end-of-month reports.
May perform other duties as assigned.
