Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the selectee is responsible for performing a full range of access control and physical security functions, including complex assignments in support of maintaining secure and classified environments.
• Serve as a collaborative member within the company’s enterprise security program.
• Work independently on semi-routine and non-routine tasks as needed, exercising sound judgment and recognizing when deviations from standard protocol are required.
• Utilizing the company’s Lenel OnGuard access control system, perform cardholder enrollments, credential verifications, adjust access level assignments for individuals, and manage badge activation/deactivations on a regular basis.
• Monitor and respond to access control alarms and intrusion detection system notifications within the facility.
• Escort visitors, uncleared personnel and contractors within restricted and/or classified areas as required.
• Investigate security incidents, access control violations, alarms activations and suspicious activity in or around the facility.
