At Roche, we believe every person deserves a healthy future — and that starts with ensuring the right medicines reach the right patients. We're looking for a strategic leader to shape how Indonesia's healthcare system values and accesses innovative therapies, working at the intersection of public policy, communications, and patient impact.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences who share our commitment to improving lives through science.
As Chapter Lead, you will sit on Indonesia's Leadership Team and play a central role in shaping the country's medicines access strategy — ensuring eligible patients can reach Roche's innovative therapies. You'll build and lead a high-performing team while driving relationships across government, health authorities, and patient organizations.
In this role, you will:
Build productive relationships with government bodies, the Ministry of Health, and patient groups to strengthen treatment access and delivery nationally
Lead the development of public policy strategies that create a favorable environment for healthcare investment and innovative treatment access
Oversee the process for securing formulary listings and drive proposals that expand or extend access to Roche therapies
Shape communications strategy and campaigns that reflect the business's long-term vision and key brand priorities
Represent Roche in industry trade groups and collaborate with regional and global teams to share learnings across markets
Lead early strategic analysis of local market potential for new therapies entering the pipeline
Coach, mentor, and develop your team, embedding a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous growth
You hold a university degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, political science, health economics, public health, or business; an MBA is a plus
You bring at least 10 years of experience in specialty therapeutic areas, ideally within pharmaceuticals, health economics, or private payer industries
You have a track record of engaging senior stakeholders across complex, matrixed organizations
You're a strong communicator with excellent analytical and business presentation skills
You bring proven people leadership experience, with a genuine passion for developing others
You act with integrity, courage, and a strategic mindset, and you're energized by driving impact at a national level
