Job Description

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

THE WORK

  • You'll lead construction and renovation projects for QC laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities, cleanrooms, manufacturing support areas, and other regulated life sciences environments.
  • You'll manage field execution from project planning through turnover, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, safety requirements, and client expectations.
  • You'll coordinate daily construction activities with engineering, quality, validation, commissioning, EHS, operations teams, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • You'll oversee contractor performance, field resources, construction sequencing, and site logistics to support efficient project delivery in active facilities.
  • You'll facilitate site walk-downs, coordination meetings, readiness reviews, safety audits, job briefings, and contractor alignment discussions to maintain accountability and communication.
  • You'll support construction activities in GMP and non-GMP environments while minimizing operational disruptions and maintaining contamination control and facility access requirements.
  • You'll apply technical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC controls, electrical systems, clean utilities, laboratory gases, pressure cascades, HEPA filtration, laboratory equipment installations, and cleanroom infrastructure.
  • You'll identify and mitigate project risks, resolve field issues, develop recovery strategies, evaluate budget impacts, and provide accurate project status updates.
  • You'll coordinate commissioning, qualification, and validation readiness activities, including field verification, punch list management, documentation turnover, vendor coordination, and system startup support.
  • You'll foster a culture of safety, quality, compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement while building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project partners.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with equivalent construction management experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, including experience supporting regulated life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, cleanroom, or manufacturing facilities.
  • 10 years of experience managing multiple contractors, field teams, project priorities, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations in complex construction environments.
  • Industry experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, laboratory, cleanroom, GMP, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Technical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC controls, electrical systems, clean utilities, laboratory gases, pressure cascades, HEPA filtration, laboratory equipment installation, commissioning support, and construction project execution.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Direct experience delivering QC laboratories, analytical laboratories, microbiology laboratories, pharmaceutical laboratories, cleanrooms, or GMP facility construction projects.
  • OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain the certification.
  • Experience coordinating shutdowns, outages, tie-ins, phased construction, and work within occupied or operational laboratory and manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety requirements, job hazard analysis, and contractor safety management.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, qualification, validation processes, turnover documentation, quality systems, and inspection readiness requirements.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
