As an Acceleration Center - Assurance Private - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will evaluate compliance with regulations, assess governance and risk management processes, and related controls within our Assurance practice.

In this position, you will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward is unclear. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards. Responsibilities

• Conducting independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls to enhance credibility and reliability
• Evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
• Obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements to identify material misstatements
• Utilizing auditing methodologies and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to perform external audits
• Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial reporting and analysis
• Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate accuracy and compliance
• Analyzing financial transactions and trends to inform insights and recommendations
• Collaborating with clients to address data challenges and improve financial reporting
• Implementing data visualization and digital tooling to enhance audit processes
• Upholding professional and technical standards, including PwC tax and audit guidance

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
